A piece of work I did a few years back as part of a uni project depicting a sci fi walker. It was my first venture into the world of 3D. Started modeling using Form Z then switched to lightwave as I preferred the workflow. Photoshop was used for the textures and composting. The backing is a blurred low res stock shot of some stars as I ran out of time to do the final render pass of the background.Related content

thematically its intimidating; from the angle at which it looks down on you. Like this a lot. And I agree with SumDood's comment about it making a great poster or even a magazine cover- plenty of space to fill in the zine title still not detract from the impact of the picture.

The best one by far was 5. With 4 just behind it. Empire was just so dark and moody and captured the whole atmosphere of a post planet exploding universe...
