the flares started as an accident... i wanted a back hair light and it got in the shot.. i loved it and put a second light back there and posed her between them. One of those discovered in the moment things...

and yeah the watermark thing... i like doing that now in some shots... just to be a goof

well if you can't get a D3... wish I could get a D3... but yeah I compared the D300 to the D90 and the D700 i think the new one is... and the D300 just suited my needs the best... depends what you want to do with it.

I wish I could get a D3 tooo... too much $$ and I have 3 DX lens already soo.. the D300 seems like the best bet. I'm really impressed by your fotos with it keep rockin!

thanks... and the D300 does feel like it takes pics better than the D80... and not just in ways you can't usually tell... like most minuscule upgrades... not quite like the jump from point and shoots to SLRs but still noticeable...

Of course the D300 is much better than the D80... But then, the D700 is SO much better. It is very expensive, though not that much when you think that it's just a smaller D3 ^^ And FF! with enormous pixels, plenty of light, no more noise ^^
