Description *previously on iZombie... my teacher, Mrs. Hemerage, has told me that the Apple Corporation has turned everyone with iGear into iZombies in order to take over the world! Since I'm a loser, I don't own any iGear so I have no hunger for brains, but MY brain is still wondering about an old man who insulted my intelligence for not owning an iPhone! WHO could he be, and why has my teacher taken me to an underground bunker?*

"This should protect us from the iZombies for a little while," Mrs. Hemerage proclaimed when she turned on a light. I discovered that we were in a small bunker, lit only by a single, overhead lightbulb hanging on a string. Small boxes and rollout beds were scattered in the corners, but the rest of it was bare. "Sorry kid, but we don't get phone service in here."

"Not like it matters," I said glumly, "I'm the last teenager on the planet, it seems."

     "Yeah...you probably are."

My self-esteem officially crushed, I decided now would be a good time to ask some more serious questions about my current situation. "So, what's our plan to stop Apple?"

My aged teacher pulled up a small crate and eased her body down. "Back in my day, kids your age didn't ask stupid questions like that. People could make up elaborate, successful plans on the spot while walking to school in thirty feet of snow with tornado winds uphill bothways..."

My mind began to wander. "Here she goes again..." I thought. After several minutes of her ranting, I tuned back in.

"...but seeing that you're part of THIS generation of slobs...I guess I can give you a break. I figure we'll have to find a way to turn off the thingy that's making them iZombies...but I don't know much about technology. That's where YOU come in. You might not have an iPod, but your lazy-ass generation knows how to work pretty much any kind of technology just by looking at it. Think you're up to the challenge?"

     I shrugged. "I guess so."

"Don't, 'I guess so' me! That's YES MA'AM to you! But anyways... once we gather our bearings we can head to the iHeadquarters of Apple. But after that, it's up to you. I don't know anything about the interior of that place."

I laughed nervously. "Yeah. No pressure, right?"

"Oh, no! This is the FATE OF THE WORLD we're talking about! NEVER forget that if you fail, we can all blame you for the destruction of the world."

"Oh... that's... nice." I noticed my eye was beginning to twitch. "So... there will probably be a lot of iZombies there, right?"

"Yep. But don't worry, I can take care of THOSE for you."

"Okay... that makes me feel a little bit better." I went over every piece of technological knowledge I had in my mind. Not that there was much to process, but I assumed a little bit of review couldn't hurt. "Mrs. Hemerage... just out of curiosity, but... what will happen to us if I fail?"

"We'll probably be killed," she answered without batting an eye. "But let's hope we do get killed, should we fail... because otherwise, we will have to face a worse fate still."

"Oh." An awkward silence passed between us. "So... when do we leave?"

"In part five," Mrs. Hemerage answered enigmatically. I had no idea what she meant. "Yes, we're leaving in part five because part four is now over."
