i personally do not use lines or a body base, i just draw it the way I think of it. so yes... I made it sketchy on purpose
and for some reason the hands came out terrible on this pic, I can draw hands really good, but I don't know what was wrong with the day I made it >< so yeah

NO no ! in fact some of the best artists draw with a base sketch. like a lot of really REALLY good anime artists draw with a base.
its the final picture that counts.
