Cisphobia does exist, and im a trans person. All kinds of people are oppressed. Minorites and White people, Females NB's and Males, all sexualities and all people are oppressed and thats just how it is.

On tumblr you might get hated on for being cis but you don’t go outside scared you’re gonna get beat or killed for being cis. Cisphobia doesn’t exist. You just wanna be oppressed.

dude, you are acting like the higher majority of people are out here killing and beating trans people on the streets like its a normal thing. yes, people are still immature and childish and wanna hate people for their own personal preferences, but do you realize how much love and recognition and support trans people have gotten? especially lately in the last few years. people have become so accepting and loving the people who are trans and even encourage them to show it off even when they themselves arent trans, and show trans people in such a positive and loving light. hateful people come with every group of people, and always will, but theres alot more love and support for them then hate. and for some odd reason you just want to focus only on the way more smaller side with hate. acting like thats all there is. there is no problem with sticking up for yourself and who you are, but just hating for the most petty of reasons is honestly no excuse.
cisphobia does exist. because it is hating someone for their own life choices and preferences that doesn't involve any of other peoples concern, just like transphobia. some people are like "being cis is the wrong way!" "down with the cis they should die!!" and that is honestly very toxic. you act like we just want something to complain about when we are only sticking up for ourselves, because if we dont do that then the hateful words would turn into something way more worse then just words.
just. why hate? what does hate do for anyone? when has hate ever actually resolved a problem in a mature manner? never. because hate is just useless. if you really wanna think cis people are awful and terrible, thats your own choice, but living that hateful life isnt going to solve anything at all. and id reccomend doing something better with your time.

I agree that we’ve gotten more recognition but we are still vastly hated on. I got disowned by most of my closest family members and friends when I came out. Trans ppl came a long way but we are still pressing for our own human rights whereas cisgendered folk don’t have to worry about the daily struggles we go through. And just saying “well not all cis ppl wanna beat you up!” When last time I went into a male’s restroom a man in his, I wanna say late 50’s threatened to beat me up because I wasn’t a real man and if I was I’d be able to defend myself. I’m not defending the hate tumblrinas possibly might be throwing out there but it’s minute to the actual hate and violence against us trans folk. And I believe it’s satire as well? I’ve never in my life heard myself or my trans friends bash on cis people for purely being cis. They normally bash them when they’re being transphobic and insensitive towards them.

ah, i see. im really sorry you have had to deal with people like that, but like just what im trying to say is... dont get the wrong idea yknow? even though you have had experiences with bad people like that, i just dont want you to think we are all like that.
and i completely agree that the hate and violence for trans people is completely unneeded, but what i meant when i said words could turn into something worse is that if we just keep quiet about it then itll soon become very worse then what it is right now. not saying it is worse then the hate for trans people but what im trying to say is that i just hope it never has to get to that point.
just, dont let the awful people like that make you think that every cis person will do that to you, i know with all that you have been through that it might be hard to believe that, but i just dont want to see another person hate anyone thats cis, because i have met a whole lot of them, and thats how ive lost alot of friends sadly.
and idk if this is off topic but, dont let some grody old man make you feel any less of who you are, or anybody for that matter. you are your own person, and you know who you truly are. just remember that anyone who wants to say those awful things to you, dont have anything else to do with their time. and people who tell you who or what you are actually dont know nothing at all. dont ever feel discouraged because people like that wanna just be mean for the sake of being mean. you be the person you are and i hope you recover from the unfortunate things that you have had to deal with

As a trans person, I fucking hate when people hate on cis people as a whole.

but it does exist, and if it is just ignored, then it will become bigger
