Thought I had commented on this when I made it a favorite a long time ago, guess I didn't. I rarely say that I love a piece of art, but I really love this one. Everything is done just right, particularly with pastels. This one can stand up to any piece of art I have seen on dA, bar none.

Amazing - Lauren Hill has a natural beauty about her anyways, but you've also managed to capture her attitude with the pose, and also the way she is looking at the viewer. The colouring is excellent, and the details such as the hoop earring still caught on her shoulder, makes it so realistic. Even the wisps of hair at her forhead are flawless - Great work

Very nice. I really like the colors and highlights. The only part that looks odd is the area around her ear. Too pale and stark, maybe? Could be me seeing how I don't know anything about pastels
