The way this person is hidden in the shadows, and somehow dwarfed by this huge door is great...and you have to look for the silhouette, to look closely at the photo...a very fine shot.

thank you for your really nice comment, it's not so easy to find out the silhouette and understand (it's not so evident but that's the shot's sense) but walking in the street the oblique way of the shadow and what was in the shadows impressed me a lot.

This is simply beautiful. The fact that it's black & white lends to its sense of clarity, and particularly makes the light stand out from the shadow. This photo is strangely metaphorical, suggesting (as you clearly intended to show) that the needs of the poor are often overlooked.
