I recently bought myself a flaming 1/32 Moebius kits Viper Mk2 from the cult Scifi show Battlestar Galactica of which I'm a big fan.
Since the kit I found (hard task in France) was prebuilt and painted (glossy white and shiny red, see picture link below), I spent several hours making it dirtier and battle-worn, just as these birds appear on the screen.

Various acrylic drybrushes / washes for the hull (5 colors), all done with paintbrushes (for unfortunately I don't own an airspray gun). Mate varnish here and there + flat dark for the stand. I searched inspiration from many other Viper kits on the web to reach this goal.

Please note that I'm aware that due to my lack of skill and gear (hard to get with a paintbrush the rendering of and airspray gun) she's far from being perfectly painted, and I guess she'll never be totally finished since I keep making minor modifications every week !...

But there it is, in her actual glory anyway, ready for living room display !
