More 1920s stuff, woo hoo! Promise I’ll get back to the games soon!

So, basically, I’ve been busy doing Bible study the past week, and haven’t really had much time to draw. When I finally got time I decided to draw the Nightmares. And my biblical mind decided, what if the nightmares only visit Michael, and what if their (kinda loosely) based on biblical demons? So, I went with that

The farther back in humanity you go the more superstitious people are. Michael grew up to be religious, specifically with his mother. His father never really believed in it, and Michael retained the personality of his mother. Despite this, he put on a facade that mimicked his father’s skepticism in attempt to look cool in front of his peers, but all that shattered when his brother died, and he was horrified of going to hell.

The nightmares combine two of his fears; Hell and Animatronics. He figuratively gets taken away to hell in his nightmares, as he believes that he deserves to go to hell.

Also, if a fellow Catholic comes across this, I mean no ill intent when basing these creatures on demons. I understand this is sacred and real to people, and I completely respect that, as it’s real to me as well. I’m truly sorry if it came off as mocking in any way.

Ps, These are just concepts, so the finals might look somewhat different! Also, the nightmares aren’t actual demons, they’re just manifestations of Michaels fears. Except for Balloon Boy, but, I’ll get onto that some other time.
