"His family perished to due to a mysterious illness and turned his skills of animal tracking in the swamp to tracking the common enemy of nature: Man. Revin became a bounty hunter for the Kingdom before earning the title of 'Bloodletter' after having murdered Sir Le Ven'tiere. He has since retreated into the Apacia wilderness in hopes of eluding from fellow bounty hunters."

This was one of the most fun pieces I've done this year and I'm so happy to call it done days before New Year's Eve! Getting the back pose just right has been a nightmare and, while it isn't a 1:1 reflection as the front pose, the client is still happy with the end result. Now we've both got fun ideas for more worldbuilding, such as what ever a Dire Otter may look like, or his Khalyse, a swamp vulture companion, may look like!
Also, the alligator limb and vulture skull were originally rough studies, but I loved them so much that I wanted to keep the semi-roughness intact and use it for the borders. Who knew using a triangular brush would be so fun to use?
...My mom thinks his face looks cute, too! That's something new, given she usually hates all the character faces I draw :>
