I think the image is abit dark, and the angle is a bit too to the side, it would have been a bit better slighty more so we could see the model. But otherwise it is a really good photo.

actually, I tried to hide the model... I wanted to make the scene, the drill and the contrast as main elements here... the model was there only to tell the story (actually she's not a model, but an actress).
thanx!

I'm going to save my "overall" analysis for the last shot because I often write too much .... I really like it, though

You never cease to amaze me! I love everything about this piece. I really like the drill. That's a nice addition, especially how he is holding it hehe, very interesting. I also like the goggly thingies over her eyes. Very nice. The lighting is nice as well. Great work!

oh, I asked her to hold it in a menacing phallic way!
The goggles are something I plan to use in a cyberpunk book cover
and that I wanted to test on these shots...
I believe it works well as a cyberfetishist element.

i'd let her drill me anyday.
seriously though, i love blade runner and this shot is very cool. very retro futuristic. i think i might prefer her face being sharper, but at such low shutter speeds this should be expected.
nice work.

thanx!
I tried to avoid any sharpness on this series... and in most of my fetish shots...
I believe a blurry/misty atmosphere adds some mistery to the scene and gives a film noir touch to it...
It works for me, but don't know if other viewers share my opinion... do you?

i too shoot with slow shutter speeds with or without flash. so i often get some blur or softness. it's part of my personal style i believe, but sometimes with certain images i just wish it was shap.

just for the record, the lighting is a 40 watt light bulb, mounted as a spot...
I had no chance to use higher shutter speeds.
although I'm almost sure I woulndn't use it anyway...

Dear lord. That's hawt.
I don't know what it is about the stance...It just seems a little stiff. But that's all fine and good. n_n
