Description
Β Dettlaff from Witcher 3's Blood and Wine dlc. I felt for this guy, I really did, the poor sod.Really enjoyed this dlc (though most of the endings are...bleh) A shame it's all over now

I rather save him and have all ofΒ Toussaint hate me than to kill this amazing creature. Just wished the "Save Best Vampire Ending" was executed better. x'D

I was so annoyed with the ending I got, and all because I had to be nice and get that bloody ribbon
Duchess ended up dead as well because she's an idiot and all her soldiers are as well apparently. Ugh...poor Dettlaff

It's a good thing we got the ability to save Dettlaff, by not getting the ribbon! xDΒ
Witcher 3 is still a masterpiece, it just needs more Dettlaff x3

but he's not a bad guy...bah people keep judging him by 'human morals', he's not human!
Hell even if he were, plenty have killed for those they love.
Do you think that it's only the introverts that get him? lol

Lol. I believe so. Even Regis comments on this, saying he does have a sense of right and wrong. I don't remember exactly what was said but it was something along the lines of him thanking and protecting a child just because he gave him an apple. Plus we don't know how long he and 'Rena' were together, meaning we don't know how much she did to make him think she genuinely loved him.

Which makes it all the worst for Dettlaff...mind you by 'Night of the Long Fangs' all he seemed to be thinking was 'RAGE!!!' - his emotions get the better of him, but majority of vampires do view humans as little more than insects.
Pft, Syanna didn't love him she was using him from the get go, or that's how I interpreted it. She was curious about him and stayed with him as long as it was interesting and new to her, problem was she made a mistake as he was a vampire...not so easy to get away from, plus he was a clingy vampire, well not clingy but the type that finds it hard to connect with others but once they do it's a strong connection, too much for Syanna. She's a disturbed, unhappy, unpleasant character
