thank you again! This model is a burlesque dancer and loves that era. But she also has a huge thing for old horror movies. (one of her favorite burlesque sets is her dancing as the bride of Frankenstein

Well, a friend of mine actually just taught me. We used 5 lights to get this shot. I learned some very important things: the backdrop MUST be white (or the light gets lost), you MUST have a hair light, & photoshop is no substitute for original lighting. I went on-line & looked up pics of old Hollywood movie stars & then just copied the lighting I liked best. This one is inspired by a picture I saw of Jane Russell.

I love shooting her because she "morphs". She's 1 of those girls that if you met her on the street, you would never guess. Something happens between her & the camera that can't be explained, but I sure am glad when it happens! lol

yeah, this is digital. HOWEVER, I actually only did some skin softening on her & a bit of "digital eye make-up". The tones are pretty much as I shot them. It's amazing the pshop time that good lighting can save! lol. This was the result of 5 seperate lights.
