Description
this is what i know-that everything you or i would want to say about culture, or human rights, equity, ad infinitum
has been said before,
and probably by someone a whole lot smarter than either of us.
someone who knew what they were talking about,
who had lived in the ghettos and gutters of calcutta (or toronto as the case may be)
or at least was better at making shit up about it.
so tell you what-
don't write that poem about the place you've never been
or that story about that thing you've never seen.
conserve the paper (or at least recycle the rough drafts if you really want to make a difference)
and come see me when you have something to say that i don't already know.

I enjoy that most beaches in the North are all very rocky. Where I live we have a bit of both, but I like to think that with climate change so does the landscape. The weathering isn't as powerful in colder climates. I'm sure you know all this, but it's always cool to think about :]

yeah, i agree. the beach where this photo was taken, actually was both, too. it had some sandy bits, but i prefered the rocks. i dunno, i just love all the smooth rounded pebbles.

at all? wow. that's kind of amazing. i've gone ziplining before, but we didn't do any actual falling, so i dunno.
i went on a ride once, at wonderland, which is a park thing, and it drops you 152 feet. 52 of which are free fall. and i had fun, i loved it, but i'm still terrified.

um, i'm not sure. it was in costa rica, and the trees were massive! it didn't seem that high though. it was just fun!
