Description I am getting more and more familiar with zbrush yayyy After several tries I finally end up with something that I like. I shall practice sculpting heads from scratch more often in the future to improve my skills!!

No references used. Hope you like it Any constructive feedbacks are welcomed!


p.s. Sculpting in 3D is really different. Apparently having 2D drawing skills helps but I still have to learn to understand the form in a 3D perspective. 2D is just a foundation for 3D. No wonder Michelangelo was more proud of his sculpting skill than his painting skill *_*

hmm at the time I'm still pretty new to it, so several month i guess. But I already had some art foundation, and plus I was specifically painting portraits just before I learned zbrush

the look is pretty good so far, but I still need to do a bunch of work to optimize it so it can be used in a game. The process is pretty complicated so im not gonna explain here, but the thing is that looking good is never enough when it comes to 3D tyty~

yea! but what I am saying is that it looks really professional. It would be good for your portfolio (if you ever thought of it) ohh, are you thinking of finding jobs related to video game? yep, I know. it looks pretty complicated. I've looked it up on youtube. how long did that take you to finish it?

Yeah I will put this in my portfolio as I see fit thank you. I am going to apply for a 3D modeler internship at a game company, which is why I am trying out all the 3D stuff lately to see if I can make a demo reel out of my works. This took many hours I did not keep track of time.

yay! Let me know hows the trip going! I have never been to Mexico so it must be an exciting experience for you! A great way to release stress too! Same here, I want to protect myself from the sun xD China is getting warmer and warmer. I'm happy I'm not staying here on July and August LOL, or else I will burn ad melt

loool true true it's wise not to stay during the hottest two months in China! Cancun has some really great beaches and sunshine! We paid for an all-inclusive vacation meaning that we just play all we want, everything is already paid for, we can have unlimited buffet and drinks whenever we want~ The beach is so lovely even tho I tried hiding in the shade of the beach umbrella I still got a bit tanned boho! Oh and we also visited the Mayan pyramids called Chichen Itza! A water park paradise called Xel-Ha (pronounced shell-hah). In short it's the best summer vacation i've ever been on I would totally recommend you to go to Cancun too~

hahaha!! Wow! Your vacation trip sounds so exciting!! Yea! So true! I know there are a lot of beaches both in North America and South America, even Hawaii too!! yea, believe it or not, when I was young, my face was really brown not like white skin I have now. but I heard Cuba is a cool place to go! And I love how the beach water is blue. So clean! And I once saw a dolphin jumping over the horizon in California. It was a beautiful scene. Did you enjoy a lot making sand castle?

Yeahhh about that water, it is unbelievably pure! And it's a color between blue and green, it's rly amazing! Aww good for u! We could have swam with dolphins but that part of the trip wasn't included in the cost so we skipped it As for sand castle, yeahh i totally wanna make one except if I do, i'd be sitting under the sun for hours! lol where the shade is the sand is too dry~

I know right? It would be a great moment to sketch out the beautiful water beach scenery! Did you sketch? Haha! that is okay tho! You should go try to visit Seaworld! It is amazing! There are lots of sea animals and performance shows as well! That is a bonus! I often went there with my family when I was small.

Yeah I brought my sketchbook so I doodled whenever i wanted altho i wasn't sketching scenery tho, since I only have a pen with me, I sketched random characters n animals Where is this Seaworld u speak of? o:
