This would've probably been up yesterday but I was running around everywhere taking care of stuff here x_x Either way, decided to make a picture of arguably my favorite design for a video game villain. Professor Monkey-for-a-Head from Earthworm Jim

One problem I always had with this guy is that, when it wasn't the games...he just didn't look right "right" to me. Like even in the cartoon and the instruction manual's art for him he's just too tall. For the manual it might be due to using concept art and not the final design, but in the game he is short. Like he is half the size of a normal man it feels like, and that design from the game seems to be exactly what Doug is drawing for him in the new comics he's been doing of Jim (although he looks just a tad cuter to me in the new comics).

But this is what I always see when I think of him. Short intergalactic mad scientist with Monkey Professor-for-a-Head attached to the top (always very interesting to see what the face is like when you look at pictures of him and flip it upside down so that the monkey's the one you're looking at). And I don't think they ever said, but I was always under the assumption that Level 5 (his laboratory) was some gigantic space station that he experimented in.

And, for those that are Patrons I do have the image of just the professor and monkey without a background available over on my Patreon (www.patreon.com/user?u=4939003… ). I just can't wait until he finally gets to be the main villain of one the new comics ^___^
