Just got the urge to doodle Dr. Weil (Mega Man Villain) again. This was the result.I guess one thing to note is that pic of him with his hair flailing about. You see there is an icon for him talking in-game in Zero 4 that kinda doesn't make sense. He's just transformed into his first boss-form, but his hair is still up in the boss sprite. On the icon however it is down which leads me to believe that they had originally ended for him to talk during his final form where his hair is down. Just something I always found interesting. (for those not knowing what I'm talking about you can see the icon on his sprite-sheet here: spritedatabase.net/files/gba/1β¦ It's the topmost right picture)
As for his "human" form I drew I based that mainly on his middle-age concept art (which you can see the head for at the bottom of the picture) from the Mega Man Zero Complete Works art book.

Oh I've seen that before o.o I always did wonder if Weil would return in someway had ZX continued. Soul Ablaze (Master Albert's first form) is one of my favorite final boss tracks

it was from a fanfic that my pal :icontanooi-john: created,
called Megaman Heroes. In the aftermath of MMH3 which
took place in MMZX Advent, Weil whom we thought we killed
...managed to survive when the last Model W absorbed
the blast from Megaman Gaea's sword.
Model W then absorbed that energy & used it to transform
its master, Dr Weil back into a complete human being, and it
also made him young again which made him look like he was
in his 20's...what's even worse, is now he possesses my fighting skills
& John's skills in magic...making him the most dangerous human maverick
that has ever existed.

Weil's one evil bastard but I can't help like him anyway. It's rare for people to do fanart of this guy so I'm really quite pleased, and good quality too!

He's easily the most evil villain of the Mega Man franchise in my opinion. Certainly needs more attention and we totally need a ZX3 to do more with his legacy (Model W) (...or a new Mega Man of any sort...preferably Legends 3...not givin' Capcom money until they give me that).

i like it, tough that pic with his hair flailing about makes it look (at least from thumbnail perspective) like there is a chilidish drawn sun out and about.
the idea and thinking about it is good.

it's really hard to figure out things about how Weil looks in certain situations sometimes ^_^; they did not show him nearly enough throughout the games.
