Description
I decided to try and render the scene in LuxRender instead of Blender's in-house render engine. I fire it up this morning, and now it's been running for 5 hours. I browsed around a bit to see what I could do about the grainyness. This is the answer I found:"Forgot to mention, with unbiased rendering, for some scenes, if you don't want to wait 40 hours or so,
for the last grain to come out, you can use an image denoising program."
I used denoising in this picture, but to no avail. I'M NOT GONNA WAIT 40 HOURS FOR THIS SHIT! Oh, and it wouldn't let me import textures from Blender's engine at all...
I'll go back to Blender's render engine now... I also ran it yesterday, for 6 hours with Blender's engine, but I made a massive mistake and made the Ambient Occlusion multiply instead of adding. All the lamps inside the apartment were black, and emitted black light... >.> I'll stop fooling around now, deactivate AO altogether and finally render this thing. The asphalt's still a mess, but whatever: I want to move on to something new!

Looks awesome. But the red brick wall...it kinda doesn't seem to add up to this picture. Sorry maybe it's just me that thinks that the red wall is kinda odd.
But thumbs up for the good job!

Like I said, LuxRender wouldn't let me import textures, and I was too lazy to manually re-add the textures again. LuxRender is awesome for ULTRArealistic renders, but since it's unbiased it requires an IMMENSE amount of time. The amount of grains are halved for every 4th pass, which means it'll take a looooooooing time to remove the amount of noise I have in that picture now... Possibly around 40-60 hours.

yeah it would all be good if everything would be easy. Sadly it's not

Well, it is easy. It's just that it takes a lot of time, that's all...
