Cree Duke: Those FBI idiots destroyed Janice's body, so now she needs a new one. The ones she's jumping in and out of, they can't last. They get diseased, she gets weak. Janice needs to be reborn again and she needs Jessie to do it.
Stephanie Freeman: Why Jessie?
Cree Duke: Now, see, that is a very, very expensive question, girl. And I don't think you've got what it takes to pay the price.
[gives her hand to Duke]
Stephanie Freeman: Tell me.
Cree Duke: There one's on the house. In a Voorhees was she born. Through a Voorhees may she be reborn. And only by the hands of a Voorhees will she die. Janice had a sister, your girlfriend's mother, Don. Now that he's dead, she has only two blood relatives left in the world with the power to kill her or make her reborn: Jessie and her baby.
Stephanie Freeman: I've gotta get out of here, gotta protect them.
Cree Duke: The only way to do that is to kill Janice, and you can't, but Jessie can. Tell Jessie about his birthright. Make him believe you. Go to the Voorhees' house. Find proof. Because if you don't, Janice will kill him. And your baby.

In order to fully reincarnate and make sure no one shall send her to Hell, Janice must possess the bodies of several innocents while searching for her half-brother Damon Kimberts, Jonathan (Damon's adult son) and newborn Sean (Jonathan's 10-month old baby son and therefore Damon's grandson).
