On paper, Morgana Macawbre is the president and CEO of a privately-owned company that specializes in the import and distribution of mushrooms to various restaurants, but what only a select few know is that she is arguably the most powerful sorceress of the modern age. Originally born in eastern Europe, Morgana was the daughter and scion of an ancient line of magic users, her mother being a witch queen and her father a vampire lord. Raised in her family's traditions, Morgana began to chafe under her father's strict boundaries for her, as she longed to leave the ancestral castle and explore the world outside. Things really came to a head on Morgana's eighteenth birthday, when she announced her plans to go to America and begin work to bring the supernatural world out of the shadows and allow them to live alongside normal people again. Morgana's father erupted in a violent rage at his child's break with tradition, which led to a sorcerer's duel between father and daughter. Amazingly, Morgana was able to overpower her father and left him lying stunned on the ground. Rather than finish him off, Morgana returned her father to his hibernation chamber to regenerate and ordered their servants to watch over him until he fully recovered. Taking a satchel of gold and jewels from her father's vault, as well as several tomes of spells, potions, rituals and incantations from the family library, Morgana left that very night and travelled to America, using her training and supernatural charm to reinvent herself as a member of high society.

Morgana first met Darkwing not long after moving to St. Canard and there was an immediate attraction between the two creatures of the night from the start, though they have yet to do anything official together outside of costume. Morgana lends her supernatural powers to the Justice Ducks as their resident expert in the occult, having faced down everything from zombies to evil deities. Recently, she has taken Quiverwing under her wing as an apprentice and begun to teach her how to wield enchanted weaponry and enhance her already formidable skills using enhancement magic.
