Well, it's not so much that her new outfit is bad, it's just that her new outfit kinda reflects the quality of the storyline she currently in. It's boring. It's bland and somewhat tasteless. Kelly Sue Deconnik is a good writer however, her storyline for Ms. Marvel has already been done before(and much better at that). Carol Danvers has already been put through the whole amnesia plot before, when Rogue absorbed her powers and memories. Like I said, her outfit reflects the story she's in, and it just seems like there was no effort put forth into designing it, almost as if the artists were afraid of rilling up the extremist feminists if they gave Ms. Marvel an outfit that showed any skin.
All in all, her new outfit doesn't suck. It's just unoriginal(that, and the outfits helmut looks really silly).
