here the thing I just finish watching the series but there are problems with it mainly focus on the hero saving the girl but they throw so many things at you it dont let you take the time and let it sink in, the animation is ok very nice to look at but the characters are really not that great like wolverine I dont understand how they did it but they may him that interesting like dont get me wrong he is good but he is just 1-D character and the design is ok but it make him look like he is in his mid 20s and were looking at more average tone man then the over muslcar monster, the side characters...... well they are not that great only one may me interested about knowing more about him and that kikyo cause he is basically wolverine if he was a samurai and he actually cares about honor and follow the samurai code but thats it and the worst side character would be wovlerine girlfriend markio but I am sorry she is basically as 1-D as princess peach sure she miss logan but through out the whole series the woman barley say a word and when she does talk she mostly goes on that Logan should just forget about her, the villains were actuallly the best part of the show cause you actually want to see them to be defeated and the they are the type that you would love to hate of villains, but what I would say that kills it is probably the last 3 episodes and thats because the story had to wrap itself up so quick they just do cop outs left , right and center and its really sad cause you know while watching this it is a rushed series just so they can bring it out for the fans and its really sad cause they do gives these characters such good back stories that they make you invested in there story but its so rush you forget about it as soon as it done...... personally rating I would give this anime a 6/10 its just about average but if they increase it by another 12 episodes and make it a 24 episode series it would make a easy 8/10 but like I say the Rushing of the series and the last 3 episodes is the main killer of it.

Hmm... you have very good points (but i think the "over muscular monsters" is the X-Men anime Wolverine). Honestly, i would give it a 6.5 or 7/10, but i heard that more Marvel Anime is on the way, so we just have to wait and see(i want a Ghost Rider anime!! >_<)

nice. the claws actually look like a part of his body, which is a subtle but important thing for Logan. Like the colouring, too, and yes it's very anime and it works well with the lines. a solid job.

i have watched a bit...is it movie-length or like a series? and how close is it to the Wolverine's actual story?

It's a 12 part series and the story is based on Wolverine's adventure in Japan and Madripoor. I think Hugh Jackman is slated to make a movie version sometime next year as we all know Claremont wrote this story sometime ago.

Thanks comin' from a guy who draws Wolverine superbly that's a lot. Well he's kind of thin in the series so I beefed him up a little bit. Although on the X Men series he stacked up.

I heard the X Men series will be dubbed in English and will be debut in the States this fall...I have already the Japanese dubbed and it's awesome man..although I think the story sort of that Proteus incident in the books combined with bad ass Marauders and Inner Circle mayhem
