No and yes.
im not very fan about zombies or infections apocalisis, but i thinked in something called Human bots (humans corroed and controlled by nanobots) and other Stuff called Metabolic Exabrupt Corruption. (forces the victim to change the DNA and forcing the body taking other shape with viseral results)

(tale: they are inside of a large warehouse, but are in the night and inside the power goes off, filled in a laberyth of containers the couple of Shawn and jewwels found 2 integrants of one platoon, going across the containers, shawn said in SPOTLIGHT about turn off the lights due a pottential presence of Arakchcobs, in this one ,Jim the guy with the helmet said "The will se us anyways" mentioning in the fact what the arakchcobs can see termal lectures and can see them in middle of the darkness
