Description
So finally the GC5 has been updated to today’s standards but what is this there’s something else here as well?

As you may have seen from one of my status updates I have begun planning to host a Firearms Design Contest with an actual prize pool of 250 USD but more on this in a second as I explain the rules of this contest:

• Sign up for the contest before you submit your design! And it’s really simple too, just write underneath this Deviation, Status Update / Forum the following Message: „I wish to join the Royal Arms Initiative“ (You will be disqualified if you don’t. You can sign up at anytime even in the middle of the contest).

• Only 1 Submission per contestant (This also extends to multiple posts of the same design).

• This is a friendly reminder to not harass on anyone who might turn out as winner.

• The Contest Begins on December 31st and Ends on January 28th 23:59 UTC+1 (Anything submitted before the 31st or after the 28th won’t be accepted anymore)

• The Contest might end on January 28th but winners aren‘t announced until the 4th of February

• Every Deviation submitted to the contest is required to have a Age_of_Ascension_C tag

• The Winners are chosen by an jury consisting of two other developers of AoA: Resurgence and myself

• Copying the design of another contestant will get you obviously disqualified for the duration of the contest.

• Utilizing AI Tools or anything other AI related will be immediately disqualified, this is a contest of skill and not how fast you can type a prompt.

• Designs have to be centered around a steampunk / Dieselpunk / Decopunk WW2 Theme however designs require to have some semblance of technical functionality so no magic bullpup firing a 20mm Shell

• Out of all contestants only three will be receiving the prize pool:

1st - 125 USD + Adoption into the AoA canon lore
2nd - 75 USD + Adoption into the AoA canon lore
3rd - 50 USD + Adoption into the AoA canon lore

Honorable mentions may be adopted as well into the AoA canon lore however these will be treated on a case to case basis

• Money will be transferred through PayPal

Now for some fun stuff:

- Designs may include aspects of Firearms posted on my account, again outright copying disqualifies you

- In case you want to add Lore to your Design I heavily insist you use one of the established weapons manufacturers or choose one of your own making example: Henry-Markyvsson Carbine.
If you do go with an yet to be known weapons manufacturer please explain in detail who they are, Bonus points if they somehow manage to stick to AoA‘s established lore.
