My very first attempt to draw a Na'vi from James Camerons "Avatar" - I know it has it's flaws (such as the head might be too smalL) and stuff, but I worked on it from around 6 pm till 2.20 am... I'll certainly draw more of them, that's for sure, 'cause it was great fun. I know it's kinda small too, but the lineart wouldn't look good in any other size :/If anyone has any tips on digital painting and stuff, come forth, I'm eager to learn

I think it's one of the first times my art has received an 'holy crap' before XD Glad you like it though, I'm working on another one at the moment, wanted to draw a couple this time ^^

If you do a picture like this in the future, it would look even cooler if you put a lighter color outline around the person, since there's a bright moon behind him

I'm no expert but seeing as there is a moon behind the figure then there should be some light at the edges of the body. I think the head is actually good for the body, it isn't too small. I also like the pose, it's quite fluid and not stiff. I like it!
I reckon that if this is your first attempt at drawing na'vi then the future pieces will be even better. (:
