This is pretty reminiscent of the outbreak of blood-curdling japanese horror females, but she doesn't look beaten or abused (cracks aside)... but maybe more like oppressed, sort of like in the title. It's a little chilling at first, but then you feel really sad and sympathetic, and wonder what happened to her. Great shot
