Description This is the next stage of Project Perturabo, as you can see alot of green stuff has been utlised to strengthen and thicken out the legs, plus I've added both a dead Guardsmen and a fleeing guardsmen to the base for extra detail. I will be basing it before painting with flock , but won't put on any static grass until the barricade has been built which also is very much work in progress.

Hmm...not sure about this. Fairly impressive worksmanship, yes, but if one of your previous posts is any indicator (to Battleharden), you were making an unnecessary concession when you decided to make Pertubero 'generic'. Even if you had made him closer to the image of Pertubero (ie, a hulking Daemon prince, part machine and part daemon but still with the frightening semblance of the former primarch), you'd still be able to use him as a daemon prince. After all, he *is* one no matter how you look at it.

I like the model, though it feels a bit...Nurglesque. The greenstuff filled in gaps well enough, but the end result still leaves it looking more like a Death Guard battalion's defiler.

Hence why I've moved on from entitling it as Perturabo, and treat it more like a larger scale daemon prince (or in the Iron Warrior's case, Obliterator Overlord).

Thanks for the info. I thought about making a straight out version of Perturabo, but decided it would be too long and complicated to achieve, so I decided to go for the next best idea I could come up with.

I decided that I wanted a generic design that could be used as a regular daemon prince in ordinary games of Warhammer 40,000, the model only represents Perturabo in Apocalypse games, due to it's size.

I only call the model Perturabo, because that's the Primarch I always wanted to have representing my army in the large scale games of 40K.

Holy Hell, He's big... Got any rules for this guy?

I've never seen any pictures of perturabo before, did you find any reference images or did you come up with it all yourself?

I found some rules for him online (when I find the website, I'll post it on here for people, it has rules for all the Chaos Primarchs).

The model itself is built from scratch, with no real knowledge of what he looks like in Daemon form, I've seen him before he falls to Chaos, but that's about it.

The model, as I have always stated in my posts that I have placed with the picture, that the model itself is merely my interpretation of him, and not one from a particular source, mainly because images of the Primarchs in their daemonic form, are extremely rare, the only one I can think of infact is Angron of the World Eaters, and that's only a close up in a white Dwarf Magazine!

He's coming on leaps and bounds. I can't wait to see the finished primarch.

I'm going to do his skin the following colour scheme.

Hormagaunt Purple foundation
Leviathan Purple wash over the foundation
Pallid flesh or skull white dry brushed over the top.

Metallics and weapons may be done in preheresy Iron Warrior colours as I feel that even though he is of Chaos Perturabo did not adopt the newer colour scheme most Chaos players use for the Iron Warriors.
