There was actually an episode where he tried to go back to real science, and he missed chasing Zim so much he became manic depressive (Well... more then he normally is) and Zim got lazy. It was in the special features audio scripts that never got made into episodes. In the end Dib went back to chasing Zim and they both had a name calling fight when they saw each other... I really liked your Foodcortia one though. ^,^

Yes, I know about that episode, "Mopiness of Doom." Dib definintely had that as an alternative career option waiting for him.
However, I firmly believe that he went back to chasing Zim because he missed the fighting, not for any sort of represed and unrecognized "r." When I like someone, fighting is not what I want to do with them!

I think it's funny how you use "r" instead of romance... Isn't it strange that the ZADR fandom calls the pairing that when so much of their art has NOTHING to do with the average persons idea of romance? (namely they have Zim and Dib beat the crap out of eachother more then any other section of the fandom *irony*)

Also, I disagree, I don't like the violent fan art. I like the funny fan art, and sometimes the cute fan art if I'm in the right mood. (most of the time overly-cute fan art makes me want to cough up my normal human guts XD )

Sorry, I wasn't being clear. 
I didn't mean I went in for violent fanart, I meant that if it's violent but they stick the "r" label on it just for the sake of sticking the "r" label on it, that needlessly leaves out those of us who WATCHED THE ACTUAL SHOW, who are okay with violence, and who aren't into zadr.
I like cute fan art too... as long as it's not TOO cute... too!
