I kind of got the idea from *ShinjiLover who did the same thing for her manga series, "Confessions of a Bully", so I'm doing the same thing for my doujinshi. I chose the scene where Lauren helps Paul with a sprained ankle, so there wouldn't be a huge spoiler or anything.
Basically, the rule is simple: Vote for which panel you like best according to the drawing technique. Whatever panel is voted for most, I will use that drawing/coloring technique in my doujinshi when I draw everything.
So here are the choices you have:
1- Plain sketch. This technique is similar to *kyuubifred 's Pokemon doujinshi, "Without the Sugar". This will probably take me the least amount of time, but it looks kind of half-assed. I will color in certain points I feel that need to be enhanced.
2- Sketch with pen outline. It looks similar to a typical manga you would read, such as Fullmetal Alchemist, Soul Eater, or Ouran High School Host Club. While it looks more true to a real manga, again, it looks a little half-assed.
3- Painting. Basically, I color these panels without an outline. It doesn't really seem to stand out very well, but it's my favorite coloring technique.
4- Painting with an outline. The panels are fully painted, with an outline, so the panels would stand out more than the third option.
5- Plain outline with tablet. Basically, it's lineart. No coloring, nothing of that nature. I will only color in certain scenes that I feel should be enhanced, like a first kiss, the outcome of a battle, etc.
6- Colored with tablet. This technique is similar to *MeAndMyRobot 's comic, "PokeDoujinshi". It's fully colored and outlined with a background. While everything's colored, certain points I feel will be enhanced will have more detail than others.
So, you guys, please tell me what you want! I'd also like a good reason on why you like the panel you chose, please.
