You looked down in curiosity at your phone as it vibrated, taking it out with a soft sigh. “Who could this possibly be?” You whispered, trying to sound interested.

You knew damn well who it was.

No other than Dirk Strider, probably pestering you about wanting to hang out with Jake and yourself. Of course you’d normally decline; who would want to three wheel? You like them both as friends, maybe more, but you knew there was something going on between them.

But as you read the text begging you to hang out with them, you just sighed again. If he wanted to hang out this badly with all three of you present, you may as well.

You texted Dirk a quick ‘whatever. I’ll be there in ten minutes,’ and got up to get dressed. You put on a red tank-top, black jeans, and slipped on (f/c) shoes. You hustled outside, jogging towards your friend’s apartment.

After ten minutes of jogging in the warm heat, you paused, air conditioning forgivingly hugging you as you entered the building. You ran both your hands through your (h/l) (h/c) and hopped into an elevator, pressing the ‘floor 12’ button and waited.

Cue horrible elevator music.

You tapped your feet impatiently as it stopped two or three times to let other’s on, until it finally stopped at your floor. You squeezed past a few people to walk down the long hall, stopping at a familiar door.

Sighing, you knocked on the door loudly, and then fell back on your heels to wait. The door swung open, a male just a few inches taller than you grinned. “Ah, hello ol’ chump!” Jake grinned. You smiled at the male, softly shoving past him to enter the room. “Hi, Jake.”

At the sound of your voice, Dirk looked up from the couch, waving. “Hey, (y/n).” You just scoffed at him, rolling your eyes. Dirk frowned at this, grabbing your waist with a strong arm to haul you onto the couch. “D-dirk!” You whined.

“No hello for me?” The Strider pretended to look hurt. “No! I could be at home in my bed watching Netflix right now. But instead I’m here because you begged me to.” You pouted, crossing your arms to look away from him.

Jake chuckled, moving your legs so he could sit next to his boyfriend. “Well, we just wanted to hang out is all.” Jake said. Dirk glanced at him and nodded, looking down at you with a smirk. “Yeah, just hang out.”

Oh. You knew that look.

“Dirk fucking Strider I swear if you even think about tickling me you’ll be dead.” You snarled. “Good thing I’m going to do it instead of think about it!” Dirk quickly started to tickle your sides, Jake holding your legs down with a smirk.

You immediately started to holler in laughter, trying to roll out of their grip. “Hahaha! D-D-Dirk! S-stoo…oop!” You whined, trying to control your fit of laughter. It wasn’t really working.

Tears were spilling from your eyes as you started to practically wheeze. “Oh no, looks like she needs CPR!” Jake gasped. You eyed them both, still laughing horribly loud, shaking your head. “D-Don’t e-e---even hahaa… think a-about hahahaha!” You were cut off as the tickling started up again.

Dirk chuckled, abruptly stopping his tickling to hold you down on his lap. You were trying your hardest to regain air, hyperventilating at this point. Suddenly, a pair of chapped lips met your own in an attempt for ‘cpr’.

You squealed in surprise, pushing the Strider away. Dirk laughed in a rough matter, giving Jake a thumps up. “Aw, no kiss for me, Strider?” Jake pouted. You rolled your eyes at them, ignoring the two as you turned on the tv. Dirk chuckled darkly.

“Oh you’ll get more than a kiss, Jake.”
