This is a fantastic picture!
Not only that, it is very nostalgic for many Pokemon fans! The Kanto region starters are having fun free-falling as seen here. However, not only that, in my honest opinion, I feel that this great picture also captures the moment that first time Pokemon fans in 1996 were diving into a grand adventure and fans were falling into another world, metaphorically speaking, that is filled with the amazing creatures we all know and love!!

I watched the anime first and I remember playing Gold and Silver first, and then Pokemon Ruby. I only played those for a little bit though, because I mostly watch the anime and look at fanart and video game playthroughs on Youtube.

I watched the anime first as well. I wanna say it was when my parents got me the first three episodes on VHS, but maybe I saw episodes before that. But I was hooked. Unfortunately it aired right after I had to leave for school, so I didn't originally get to watch it much, but I would follow the series for a long time after that. I fell off on the anime though some time around when the voices all got recast.
Gamewise I started with Red (getting it much later than everyone else who had it in my school - I remember watching a classmate searching the Viridian Forest for Pikachu and just being so into it. When I finally found out I was going to get the game for myself, I was crazy excited). I played up to Gen 3 with Sapphire, though briefly played Diamond with a borrowed DS. Never bought my own DS or any of the following handhelds so that was my last one. So I don't follow it too closely anymore but still will always be close to my heart~

COOL! I love the way you painted the background to make it look as if they are falling from the sky. The way one is each holding another is cute too with both Bulbasaur and Charmander trying to hold Squirtle! The lighting is nice and even looks blended into each of them as well as the shading. The fire on Charmander's tail even looks real. Great job and thank you for sharing!
