Self portrait, I was looking through my things today and I found my watercolors, I decided to play around with them for a bit, and I ended up making this. About 5 min. Simplistic, I'm becoming quite fond of blue.Nothing special.

This reminds me of looking into a mirror, especially with the handprint, as if your reaching forwards to touch the mirror~ Or looking out of a window while it's raining. I don't see anything simplistic about this, except maybe the lack of colors, but just the blues, black, greys, and greens if you look hard enough do this justice. I like it ^^

I really how the face seems to comes from and belong to the colours ^^ blue is such an interesting colours and have so infinite tones

i did some handprints lately..but with acrylic..
and ive been fanatic about blue lately as well. :3 gorgeous as always ari-bug.

I miss painting with many colorful acrylics.
All I have are water colors, and pastels, and black and red tubes of acrylic I want more colors, but I'm poor. D: Blue is such a deep color, it holds much meaning it represents so many things, and blends well with anything, the color of the ocean, the tranparent sky, lovely blue hue. hmm ive been considering doing a lot more blue paintings.. i have too many paints and markers that i dont/cant use. i recently did a large portrait for a friend of my parent's. he had kept my mom late at her office while i was waiting and saw my sketch and i talked to him for a bit. and he ended up giving my mom some art supplies he randomly had for keeping her late. so i got the most heart breakingly pretty acrylic set. and a nice sketchbook.
the thing even had a color chart... ><

i like this i do, truely. I think maybe if you're white had a more color to it, it would be better (i mean, it could still be white, just not absoulte-background-of-canvas white). +fave!

I'm a big fan of blue, too. It just blends so well with both dark colors and light colors... mmm blue.

I heart this. The colours mix amazingly well. It almost feels like I'm gazing upon a new colour. It also has a very pure or childish feel to it, I really do like it. Great job, Ari. ~
