I love the composition of this one and the henchwoman's style - though I prefer she had a weapon, of course.

Wasci - I just like it like that, a personal thing. It's because the villains in my favourite sort of scene, especially the minions, are basically cowardly and have little in the way of unarmed combat skill, but they think a weapon - or maybe overwhelming odds - will inevitably give them victory against unarmed opponents. So they're smug and overconfident. Part of the fun for me is the shock they get when they're still beaten. One of the reasons I especially like the first and second pics in this series is the Vixen henchwomen have laser weapons, but are too slow for them to be of any use when the heroines strike - and any numerical odds give them no advantage either.

The point that I making is that the character Water Maiden is very over confident, cocky and smug. She has elemental superpowers but choose not to use them on these villains. She thinks that the Purple Vixen is a waste of time and efforts but she like physical combat and enjoying to beating them to death.

While Catgirl was off hunting Purple Vixen, Water Maiden started making her way deeper into the lair. Katrina and Water Maiden had demolished Vixen's patrol and sent Vixen packing before any of her hench girls could sound the alarm. So as Water Maiden made her way through Vixen's complex, she encountered only solitary guards and technicians, unaware that they were under attack. Water Maiden had little difficulty taking out the hapless hench girls, not even needing her watery super powers, knocking them out one by one, whittling away at Vixen's force.
Another tour de force! I love how the surprised blonde is about to throw a punch, but before she even get it going, WHAM! A boot to the face finishes her off! Brilliant series!
