I am quite glad I got this page done. It seemed like I wouldn't get it done… and I was struggling with myself quite a lot. However, it is now done, and IBAW will continue >_< Just with… a slightly different aesthetics. :s
Hope that's a good compromise.

I totally didn't notice the lack of shading - too busy reading dialogue, and admiring the way you draw faces. Dusk balls look awesome.

i am actually enjoying how the new "style" so to speak looks.
no shading is an okay thing to have in comics. especially considering web comics where people are working alone.
i mean, after you have finished all the lines, then the colour, but then you also have to add in the shading? that takes away hours of time you could spend on extra panels, so yeah, i get the decision, but in my eyes, its not a bad decision.
because there is no shading, your style looks more clean, and draws your eyes to the linework, and ive always loved your lining, which then is a huge pluss c: this also gives you the chance to just give the lines just one extra puff if you'd like, instead of the shading.
keep working on ibaw, the comic is great and so is the artwork!!! i'll keep reading till the end~

I'm quite glad I'm getting such positive resonance. I do have the urge often to shade and make everything as detailly as possible, but… it's also good to see this style doesn't get on people's nerves. x3

i think its better to leave the detail work up to fully blown pictures, though i definately understand what you mean. it is so tempting nitpicking at the details uuuugh!

oh i didn't even notice there was no shading until i saw the description! anyways i really like these new characters, especially the way you draw their little quirks and mannerisms - you are getting so dang good, you've come so far from since i started reading ibaw

Like some others have already said, I think I actually like this comic more without shadings, too. It kind of gives the reader a chance to focus in to the more important things, like facial expressions - which, as a matter of fact, are really worth watching in this one! So don't worry a slightest bit about dropping the shadows out, this is more than fine this way!
