Description
Another man dead, Matthew took the gun from them and threw the remains aside. He had his fourth kill and was taking thing after thing from places as he would make his way between floors, trying to keep to the stairs of the building the most.
"So many deaths.." Lass said, "All jus te end all thaes..."
"How many more do you think it'll kill before it kills the boss of this company?" Brian asked, "I'm getting concerned about what it will do with all the stuff it's been grabbing, not to mention that damage done to the pipes we saw. I don't down it was to cause a gas fire."
"It would still 'ave te light it somehow, right?" Lass said as Matthew kept climbing the stairs up. "Is et intendin' te 'ave someone randomly light a match while the gas builds up?"
As Matthew continued up stairs, fire alarms blared through out the building. Matthew only stopped after coming to the top of a flight of stairs.
"Well, that's gonna put a tent in The First's plans." Brian said, "This means people are gonna leave, and others are gonna come to make sure a fire doesn't happen. It'll probably get the CEO or others with him out of the building too."
"Ye think they knew we were here?" Lass said, "The brilliant lads! This'd stop The First in its track now."
As they were talking however, Matthew had taken out some of the things he grabbed. A security guard's lighter, a pen, and few sticky notes. He took apart the pen and tied the ink cartridge to the lighter and then folded a posted note and attached it to the pen.
"The heck is this about?" Lass asked, but Brian didn't answer right away. "I got no idea what this thing is suppose to be. How is this suppose to help him?" She still not go answer from the other personality, "Brian, what does it plan to do with that?"
"Do you know what happened when you strike a lighter, just right against the ground?" Brain said, "It explodes. We're at a stair well that reaches all the way to the bottom of this place."
"But why the makeshift sail thingy?"
"If I had to guess, to keep the lighter on the right side when it hits the ground." Brian said as Matthew held it over the edge, "Remember that gas leak made from before?"
