Description
Going to the location, the group stayed across the street from what had happened. There were so many police around it and people can be seen walking inside this building that is still smoking. Tori, Jake, Kari, and Sera were standing in an alleyway across the street and looking over, and they backed up as another car came pass.
"Okay, we found the spot, now what?" Tori said, "They're gonna see us if we walk over."
"Well, maybe you guys, but..." Kari started thinking out loud, "Remember how I ganged up on that one thug? The one who had answers on what happened and ran away from us."
"That was pretty cool, yeah." Tori said "How well can you hide like that though? You're clearly not invisible, just... foggy."
"Maybe a little foggy." Kari said, "It takes some work, but I doubt they'd think much of some mist just by the building. If anything it's another cloud." She took off the cross and chain around her neck, and the glamour illusion fell around her. "Stay put and out of sight." She spread her wings and with a flap of wings, practically vanished into a mist. She flapped her wings again, and was but thin air as she went over the street and lights. She landed on the roof of the building, and knelt down look as she looked through the skylight.
Looking in, the scene has been cleaned up of most things. Boxes, crates, and other stuff has been cleared out, aside from what had been damaged or stained even a little red. The bodies have been left in place for the time, while cops and investigators were looking around inside.
"It doesn't look like anything was stolen," one of them said, moving their hands over the objects, "Bit dang, this stuff surely isn't legal. This box here is full of guns and a few explosives. What for I can't quite sense." the figure looked like an anthro cat, but after it took off its glasses and revealed his eyes were stitched shut like Jake's, A seer, "Anything in the other crates?"
"I haven't looked in any of the other crates, I've just been looking at the bodies." The bull said, this killer has to be the same as from that other building. burned the place to cover his tracks, everyone here was dead before it went off..." the bull stopped and looked back to a body that was charred, "Except this one... Come over to this one, I think this one was burned alive... why though?" He knelt down, "Whoever this was, the killer seemed to hate the most. Maybe he knew him."
Kari held her breath as she saw the body, but kept watch in quiet, trying to stay as hidden as possible.
"Possibly, let me see." The seer walked over and laid a hand over the body, "This killer never spoke, maybe he couldn't, but... I this was interrogation." he covered his sealed eyes again and stood up, "We should check the other crates. Maybe get a better idea of what it wanted. From what I could gather, this killer did want answers about someone or somewhere."
"Then, yeah, let's check these other crates, like you said." The bull then walked toward some of the other crates, and looked them over, "Dang, I'm gonna have to file a report on, but this killer is doing a lot." He grabbed the crate and forced it open, ripping off the wood and nails of the lid completely off. The bull then looked inside. "Now I'm even more confused, I don't know what this stuff is. We got syringes and a few glass containers full of... something, no labels. Maybe drugs?"
"Let me take a look at those." The seer walked over and moved their hand over the contents inside, "Walton's Remedies? This is from that one pharmaceuticals company. From what I can tell this stuff was placed in the crate by the company, what it is still isn't clear, nor why it's here of all places."
Kari started to glare and grit her teeth as she listened, and then she gasped.
"Either way, they could be connected." The bull said, "We'll have to get in contact with them eventually..."
Kari didn't listen any farther. She turned tail, flapped her wings, and flew back across, no one reacted, no one saw her. All while, Kari kept saying things under her breath about what she had just listened in on.
