Description
I didn't even wait for the guy's whole face. The moment I saw a panther's eye, I shot it. "Over there." People shouted as the panther's body fell. I rushed out and took aim, then took two shots. one to my arm and another to my chest. I fell back from the impact, and they came running over. Next one I saw I shot, and the wolf got it in the leg and fell down.
"Oh shit!" The other one shouted and ran the other way.
The wolf still shot and got me in the thigh, but I took two shots back at him, and he fell limp. I got up as quick as I could, but a few bullets in the right spot can slow you down still. I just saw him half way across the main floor. I stumbled over some boxes and tried to run after him, but he was out the door before I could grab him. I ran for the door and heard a loud screech outside; if that was a getaway car I was screwed. I tried to force the door open. I didn't build up the open to burst through the door, but what followed the screeching sounded like someone hit a feral deer. I opened up the door and saw Korina's truck stopped in front of the last guy. The cougar was lying on the ground and groaning.

"Good timing," I muttered with a smile and limped toward the cougar.
Korina opened the car door as walked past, "Watch, are you alright?"
"Better than him." I said, and then I kicked the cougar out unconscious.
"Was this more of the gang?" She asked as she looked down at him with me.
"He was with the group I was spying on." I said, and I started to pick him up, "How'd that interception go?"
"I drove down myself to meet a the guys I called," Korina said, following me, "They were beaten within an inch of their lives, but we caught them. One of them is tending to their wounds, making sure they don't die."
"Good, the more to interrogate." I said and opened up the back of the truck, "Any of them get hurt."
"Not as bad as you." Korina said, "How those shots hurt?"
"Yeah," I said, "But I couldn't let them stop me."
"Let them for now," Korina said and ushered me to the passenger side of the car, "I'll drive home and we can figure out our next move. You did real good, Watch."
"Yeah..." I said, looking to her with a smile. "So how do you wanna beat some answers out of these guys? I got a few ideas."
