Gerallt is a very down-to-earth kind of stallion. Stern but kind, like his own parents used to be. Gerallt is curious to learn new things, ever improving his farming skills, and likes a challenging board game every now and then. Gerallt was raised in a small, tight and hardworking family. He was a teenager when his older brother died in an accident with a plow blade and he was in his late twenties when sickness took both his parents. Family means everything to the stallion, so these deaths were very hard on him.
Gerallt loves his wife, even now that their relationship has turned into somewhat more of a companionship. The stallion is half-heartedly looking out for a suitable second wife, but he knows Rhosyn will not accept it, and it’s unlikely any mare will accept living with Rhosyn.
Gerallt’s farm has been in the family for generations and though they can be considered wealthy the family has a modest lifestyle. The stallion is very respectful towards Kaia, mumbling a quick prayer each morning, but he’s also sober enough to rely on the strength of his own back first. Despite that, he can be very superstitious and often repeats proverbs with a serious nod.
Gerallt is very proud of Gwen, but he doesn’t often show it. Not because he doesn’t want to, he just thinks it’s obvious and it doesn’t need to be said.
