Description
The Nintendo Entertainment System... when gaming was gaming, consoles were consoles, and when you had to give your cartridge a good blow to get it working!! eeeeeh, those were the daysβ¦β¦..My Pixel rendition of the NES. Comments welcome!!
24/08/04 Edit: Made transparent PNG but forgot the thumbnail version would show the nasty green bg colour. Sod it, I'm never editing this again!......
16/11/03 Edit: My single most popular deviation, 65 favourites! Now I've decided to update it very slightly, given it a more traditional black outline and lighter highlights, also sorted out the cable. Continue to comment and enjoy it. I love reading the comments on this. Thanks, and remember to full view it.

NES F**K YEAH!!!
Those were days when actual skill was required to win! (Looking at you Contra, Lost Levels, Megaman series! Megaman 3 is my favorite NES game of all time!)

Well, You know about video games, i have a question: i am on a quest to buy every single videogame, i have the atari, wii and wii u, i also have a 3ds and a gameboy (regular and color) should i get them in order of release date or a random order? (yep, i like putting stuff in orders.)

Nice game console. I liked how you put games in it. It made you feel like you were engaging something.Β

The problem with modern gamers is that they look at the NES and judge it for it's graphics and limitations rather than it's gameplay on video games.

I am actually surprised, I enjoy the NES more than the SNES. Everyone goes on about the SNES and I grew up with the SNES, but this impressed me so much

You also didn't have to sit through hours of load screens, that's for sure.

Ah yes, I remember blowing into the game cartridges b/c you'd put them in and the games would do funny things on the screen because of the dust. I loved my NES

Thanks for the heads-up. I think they probably used mine as a reference, it's too close to be a random likeness.

yeah, anytime, or they could have copied yours and changed how the cords went, just a suggestion.

"I admit that I used yours as somewhat of a guide, but I assure you that I hand-pixeled all of it by myself, looking only at yours for a reference of proportion. Nothing of yours was copied, I promise.
However, if you'd like me to remove it, I will happily oblige."
Good call mate.

Why not look up the info about NES models and you'll see what I'm talking about. I don't have the picture of my old, but different model of NES, but I still have the system and the games.
