Description
This is an ATC. I saw a photo on DA somewhere that I used as a reference but I can't remember who it was. If you see this and you think it's your photo let me know so I can give you proper credit. It is an entirely different color scheme than the original photo. Robins and Chickadees are my favorite birds and I love painting them. The colors are a little more saturated in the original but alas I am not a computer person.Related content

I noticed you said in your journal that you just recently returned to art. I see that you have talent. I bet if you practiced you could paint with watercolors too. Thanks for the compliments on my latest ATCs.

about watercolor - well, i've tried, but it's completely different and you gotta know a technique. nobody taught me pencil techniques, i guess they came naturally. and as must as i've tried with watercolor, it just comes to a mess >.< you gotta know how to do it. i tried painting too, but it's super hard compared to pencil art. but still very enjoyable

Well maybe someday you may want to try again. I had to teach myself to paint since I didn't go to university. I think that there is always something new to learn, when you paint you discover new things, it's an ever learning process. Good luck with it and keep drawing.

Thanks, that is a new green. I bought a half pan set and it came with it. I glazed some yellow over it. I really like the feeling I got from the combination. I was going for a Spring feel.

Yes I am starting to like them alot. I don't get much of a chance to paint plen air. I am hoping this summer to try it more.
