I do not know what he is talking about, I am currently using it in a game under construction It is a demonstration of a physical engine called Box 2D. Actually I do not understand well at all, This technology is truly amazing. It seems that it is possible to introduce the physical concept into the concept of the game, With this you can express quite realistic underwater movements. B.dlsite.net/RG 05822/archives/... For details, please come to our blog. ASTER> If you have time, could you translate it to everyone?

"Well hopefully I can make myself understood. This is a demo from a physics engine ("Box2d")
I am using currently for my work-in-process game right now.

Honestly speaking, I am fairly clueless as to how it all works, but as far as I can see this stuff is
really amazing. Seems like you can bring in your ordinary physics concepts into your game and
by using this you could reenact a pretty realistic underwater scenario.

for the intro video, I'm only getting sound, but no video.

I was having the same problem. Try copying and pasting the first link at the end of Wadatsumi's blog post to access the file directly. You should be able to get sound and be able to control the girl using the up arrow.

Hope this helps.

I'll give that a try. Thanks.

I'd love to see that first demo with the shackled girl turn into something.

Same... I would love to see this concept turned into quite a bit more. Maybe a series of escape games. Would love to see her attached to a weight as well o.o lol

I am still a bit confused - I am not sure if this game was intended to go anywhere. You press Z a lot and she pushes herself upward and off the screen and then nothing happens lol

This isn't "the game." It's just a demonstration of the physics engine Wadatsumi is using. The game will have the scuba diving girl with the flashlight.
But I would like to see this  as well.

I am not saying that this is "the game" that we've been waiting for lol. What I am saying is that I am not sure if the small game was intended to go anywhere. It was a test project for sure but it has no end lol. Eventually it just fades out and ends the same way no matter how far up you go. What I was saying is I am not sure if there is really any objective to it or if it was meant to be that way lol.

Gotcha. It says in his blog its just a demo of the physics engine, so I don't think it is.

From what I can understand from her blog, she said something about the game engine being similar to Angry Bird's game engine. I might be wrong though.

That is quite a stunning way to reinvent gaming graphics "a la Wadatsumi".

From Google Translate:

Let me see might Ne know what you're saying,
It is used in the game currently in production
It is a demonstration of the physics engine called Box2D.

Actually, I still do not know at all well with me,
It this technology is really amazing.
So it is possible to bring a physical concept in the game concept,
You can use it to express the movement of a fairly realistic underwater.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm guessing ASTER will probably update this.
From what I can gather on Wadatsumi-dono's blog, the game - I'm guessing the first one that was mentioned here - is almost done and a trial version will be out. He's aiming for the end of the year, though I used Google Translate and things are rough. Hopefully, ASTER can give all of us who are waiting patiently some more details. I for one can't wait for this and hope this picture is a teaser to something else that could be in the works - one of the graphics previews on his blog shows this same girl in a pretty serious UW peril......
