Description
Another peice of work for AS art, I'm uploading a lot of this at the moment because I have just got a load of work back from school. This is acrylic on board, a close up of a Cezanne painting. I like it; but frankly its only the paint I enjoy. I dont really like the composition or subject matter; I just included it because it shows off a little of my skill with acrylic; which will hopefully get a lot better with practise.Related content

Ooh, I like this painting. Nice contrasting colors and defined outlines, but still not so where it's just straight-line work but also abstract.

Paint is very expensive, but it doesnt have to be really. I am usually quite picky with my paint, I like to get thick Cryla acrylics, which can be watered down if needed. They are great for applying thick dense strokes, ideal for knifing too. However this was done with a range of System 3 acrylic paints, cheaper lower grade acrylics which dont break the bank. I've no idea which nationality you are, but I imagine they sell them wherever you life. Check them out if you need some paints.
