Description Mission 8 - Negotiations and Confrontations - p. 3/3

My Comments

Final page! And what a page it was to work on! I thought that Zoroark would be pretty tough to draw, but I guess practice with Palette back in Mission 5 helped a lot, even though that was a while ago. Vince, however, gah! Heracross is not easy! At least his height is comparable to Acacia's and Zoroark's. It's unbelievably frustrating when you have a pokΓ©mon on your team that dwarfs the rest of your team, haha! Oh well, that's the way it goes. Anyways, I think this is the best page of the mission, and it was very satisfying getting those story details to work out nicely. I hope you can tell what happened. And ~Pokefuturemarsh 's effects and edits were perfect! I laughed when I saw what he did with that panel with Hime and Mulberry playing.

Oh, and I have to admit something kinda silly: back in the first page, I forgot to have any of the characters carry cash to pay for the silk. And I didn't notice until working on this page, so I was all like "oh, crap." So I thought maybe they can send a letter back to the Merchants Guild for the payment, but then I'd need someone to bring the cash. It was kind of late to ask for cameos though (especially since I tend to do a bit too much research to make sure I get the character somewhat believable). But then I thought, hey! The Pathfinders are affiliated with the Merchants. And Troupe Mirage recruited one way back in Mission 4! So Sid makes an unexpected appearance once again, which came as a shock to me, the writer. There's also the bonus that he could lead the team to Sapling Village due to his familiarity with the Creeping Forest (even though it's probably still a bit in shambles after Sorbet's destruction) >_< So there's (tl;dr?) the story behind that, not like anyone asked though.

~Pokefuturemarsh 's Comments

AHH!! This page is the BEST! I love how Zorro, Craig, Tina and Arch are portrayed in the story. This goes to show how Wavy can pay attention to the details I've set out. Its fresh and exciting to see the entire package full of enjoyment and pleasure. Ah! Totally a great experience. A REAL experience!

And as you can see. Sid's personality is refreshing to see. I do have to admit that I didn't really know much about him until I read Wavy's mission beforehand. The players of M/E4 finally makes their reappearance here. And I would like to say that he's a great challenge for me to color. So I would like to thank Wavy for having such great thought to the story, despite the silliness he mentioned in the comments earlier. :3

Anyways, everyone gets a happy ending and the story's all pointing out to a good end in the mood. (I think I said it wrong.)
So, do you like it? This is our collab for Troupe Mirage and I hope that we might do this again sometime. (Of course, if we're not busy. :>)
