Today it is -30 Celcius not accounting for wind chill. So it seemed appropriate to post the last in this series on this day. In these kinds of temperatures, what but affection (love) could keep a body warm. For those of you waiting for it, I am sorry that it took so long, but each picture has gone through a number of changes as the series has developed. This is such a beautifully romantic and timeless photograph. I love the genuineness that is in a way represented by the sheet music and violin, they both seem like a much more heartfelt representation of love (taking the time to maybe compose/write/play music for a loved one) than the commercial box of chocolates or a token piece of jewelry.

this picture was created by request. The whole set of four images were created at the same time. Knowing that they hang on a wall is something I have enjoyed about them.

The Finland bit is not abso-totally true... I was born there and lived there for half my life, but you can now find me in good old Alberta, Canada
I really need to get to bed too, the early morning wake-up and having to get to work and school tends to pretty well stifle my urge to stay up past midnight.

And I hope you have prints of those images, or have them saved somewhere, would be a crime to part with them completely!

well now that is pretty sneaky of you, but understandable.
I hope you have a good day at work today.
All of my images start as CR2 files, they are processed and saved, as well as backed up. I think they are pretty secure from that perspective. I have been using computers since about 1985, I still have every letter or report i have ever written. That does not mean to say that i could not have a hard drive fail, but that is where the backup comes in. I have been using swapable drives for about 8 years, but in Januaru I bought a MAC and began using time machine. I think it is a better system, easier to use, and it takes no effort on my part.

I really should think about figuring out how to save all my junk on separate file/drive thingies, but I don't even know where to start. I'm a bit technologically challenged, and I'm not afraid to admit it.
