lol... The structure on the right is the kiln.  It is a walk in structure, very large inside and made totally of bricks.  I am not sure what the building on the left was for, but I think it was probably used to work the clay and form the bricks before they were put into the kiln.  The kiln is interesting because it is double walled brick construction with sand and dirt between,  I guess for insulation.  The walls are about 4 feet thick, the heat came from vents built into the floor.  What produced the heat is no longer there, just the chimney remains.

yeah i think you are right the wood building is most likely where the clay for the bricks was created, formed and cured before heading to the kiln for firing

It is a very cool site.  The area is blocked off now so entrance is restricted.  None the less, it is a pretty interesting place.

i imagine it is ...what do you think cause i figure they blocked it off so nobody can get hurt on their property .. most likely their liability insurance agent told them to  anyway it was a great find Wayne

Liability issues are very different here in Canada than in the US.  But I am sure that it was a consideration.
