When they first see it, this eerie painting always makes people instinctively shiver. It illustrates a scene from my novel, The Hunter Island Adventure, which is a fun-filled, fantastic non-stop adventure that occurs (chronologically) roughly one year before the events of my best-selling novel, Pulp Heroes - More Than Mortal.
The Hunter Island Adventure tells the thrilling tale of four brave women (friends and relatives of the main pulp hero characters in the Pulp Heroes trilogy), who are kidnapped by ruthless pirates and abandoned on a remote South Pacific island. They soon prove themselves to be much more troublesome than their captors expected. Running for their lives and one step ahead of death, they are relentlessly pursued by a dozen armed hunters. In order to survive, they must outwit the killers and solve the mystery of the buried fortune in gold and jewels. Knightraven Studios presents an all-new, action-packed short story featuring Pam Titan, Cassie Greyson, Megan Meriwether, Whitney Van Pelt, and guest-starring Sampson, the Razorback Hog.
The second attachment is a smaller companion piece that I often utilize at art shows in order to hook new readers. At conventions, I sometimes display it alongside the larger original painting, other times I place it at my table near the novel.
