There are some things that should never be morphed.Oneshot Character
“Sometimes we must choose to sacrifice compassion for practicality and grand opportunities. While it is sad that our co-worker, this loss will not be wasted.”
“We have been working on Pokemorphs for many, many years. It is a dangerous and tricky process, but we have nearly cleaned the art to perfection, even then there are some things that are hard to do. Morphing humans into things such as serpents is difficult but not impossible, because we cause the spine to grow out. Morphing extra limbs may also be tricky, but we’ve gotten that down as well…”
“Something we’ve never really tried before was morphing something with extra heads…”
--------
“Our subject here, suffers from DID, or Split Personality Disorder… which may actually help with coping. Dodrio, a three-headed bird pokemon with great amounts of speed and agility, as well as power, is our target. It has never been attempted before- growing a brain, eyes, moving mouth, two branches to the spine, these aren’t easy, it may not even be possible… plus, even if someone did survive it, they would have to develop whole new minds and adjust to having them there. With this, the personalities may take their own form, essentially bringing them to life. The possible backlash of this, is that the genes just decide to copy the main subject’s human brain… and we would end up with a three-headed bird, with three personalities in each head.”
---------
There was a fluke in their system though. The two heads were impossible to form, though the beginning of them formed on the shoulders. It was not a full failure though… they are not just different personalities anymore, they are individuals, trapped in one body. They do not always share memories, they can keep secrets from each other. Some of them have special skills and abilities that the others do not have access to. One of the minds is a great fighter, but only that one. He is brutal on the battlefield and commands the full cooperation of the other two minds when fighting, allowing him to access pokemon powers and using them to their full potential. One of the minds is a tender talker, soft and motherly, compassionate and kind. It prefers to be called a “she” though physically the body is male. “She” is very wise to things, cautious and rather shy- sometimes lost or brooding. She cannot fight and does not have access to ANY pokemon attacks. The final mind is the in-between and default. He can swing from zany and energetic to silent and brooding, but he’s generally a calm guy. He comes off as a bit of an asshole at times because he tends to overlook things, not nearly as observant as the other two minds. He’s nerdy and awkward, sometimes a bit childish or foolish, and generally pretty nervous, prone to having random nervous fits and outbursts, normally brought on by hearing the voices of the other minds in his head. He is easily fooled into things and taken advantage of, and even though this is the original mind, he has very little control over his own body.
It takes a massive force of will for him to switch out with another mind. He really has little control, as both of the other minds seem to swap out as they please, and he’s just sort of dragged along for the ride. He tries to keep a happy medium between the Mother and Warrior, but the three of them have a hard time agreeing on anything. The only way that he can access his pokemon powers is if the three of them agree to using the attack he is trying to use. He’s not a fighter, or a talker, he is a scientist. A sharp-minded man with a lot of training to do what he does (did). What he has over his other minds is Knowledge. He is trained to have knowledge in multiple fields, including things such as working with computers, working with pokemon, and medical knowledge.

“Uuuh… my head…” he grumbled, slowly stirring. “Huh? What’s all of this?”
“I was wondering when you’d wake up,” a voice rang in his head. He jumped up, panicked and looked around for the source of the voices. “Puss, stop being scared, it’s me. In your head.”
“Wh-what?” he squawked out loud. He… he’d never heard that voice before. He was rather scary… intimidating…
“Try not to startle him too much,” a softer, feminine voice echoed. “We need him in charge for now.”
“Why the hell do we need this worthless little nerd in charge?”
“I-I’m not worthless!” he spoke up. Voices… voices in his head. He’d been aware that he’d been diagnosed with DID, but the voices had never been there before! He lurched to his feet, accidentally overshooting the jump and smacking his head against the ceiling. “DRIOOOO!” he cried out in pain and shock, fumbling to get back on his newly clawed and digitgraded feet. “No… no, what is this?!”
He looked at himself, bare and feathered, crooked feet. He crossed his eyes and looked at his beak, he looked to his hands, bare, featherless, softly scaled now. “What… what is this?!”
“Welcome to your new freak life, Scientist. Man up quickly and get the hell over it, or I’M taking over!”
“Stop threatening him, now! Can’t you see he’s scared out of his mind?”
“STOP TALKING TO ME! STOP TALKING!” The two didn’t seem to hear his cries and they continued their arguing. He tried to run and accidentally super-sped straight into a metal door. He fell to the floor, grasping his head, a massive headache coming on.
“See this? The wuss doesn’t even know how to control his powers. That’s it,” the Warrior’s voice said, “I’m taking over!”
The morph’s form hopped back to its feet with an agile grace, and a smirk crossed its beak. “Now… we’ll do things MY way.”
Scientist felt like he was sitting back, watching a TV. He could still feel things, though, like the breathing. They all breathed together. He watched as Warrior took over the body and began to move around. He had no problem adjusting quickly to the new form.
“You must forgive him… after all, he was created to be a warrior, a protector.” It was the tender voice again. “Just as I was created for compassion… he may try to take over if he feels you may bring damage to our joint body with your actions, just as I will take over if I feel you are making a fluke in your decisions. We are just here to protect you, Scientist.”
If he’d had control over the body, his eyes would have widened with fear. This body was no longer his, but THEIRS.
“But… it’s my body, it’s my life.”
“Not anymore, Scientist. This body belongs to the three of us, and we need to learn to peacefully coexist… otherwise we will get nowhere.”
----
“Three minds, one body… that must be rather confusing…” the doctor mused, watching the fresh morph pace. “Is there any way we can complete the process? Get the other two heads in a physical form?”
“Not without killing him, sadly. The transformation is way too hard, and now that the personalities have given themselves life of sorts, I fear that making the two heads and giving them minds would only rip apart the original brain further.”
“Poor man…”

Delve into the darkness, but do not fear what you find there, just try to understand it... make a story...
I DON'T KNOW. I think I'm developing a liking for quick One-Shot characters... and this one I had fun with. It was just something of an image that I had, an RC project that was technically a failure, but at the same time, a sucess.
I love Dodrio. They are my bird. Whenever I make a team, i HAVE to have one.
... confused background is confused.
