Description
Well, this is an image I decided to call "Reflection". The reason being, you can see me reflected in the pupil. The eye belongs to S*Jamaloss Baltsar Nobel who I've submitted photos of earlier.

It was taken in a photo studio. It allows for a lot of control over the light, and you don't get "demon" eyes.

Wow! His eye is so beautiful. I have a siamese with gorgeous blue eyes, but she won't hold still enough for me to get a picture like this.

Cool picture- how did you manage to get him to stand still for that long to take the picture? Carn would have scampered off!

He only sat still for a few seconds while looking at a toy being waved around.

Thanks for your very kind comment. He sat still for a split second when I tried to catch his eye. The photo was taken in a studio and I use a Nikon D100 camera.

ahh D100
i somehow new it was a nikon.
such great cameras.
i have the nikon D70
love it, but it could do better in focusing close up like this.
did you use a special flash and lense?
or is this just a standard shot from the camera.
because if so,
wow i want one.
although i've heard the 200 is fabulous.

This photo was taken in a studio and I used a 105mm macro lens to get this close. The D200 is excellent.

Cats have some of the most beautiful eyes. I wish I could take pictures of my cats' eyes, but they don't sit still long enough. XD

this is one of the most amazing macro eye shots i have ever seen
especially since it is focused on an ANIMAL's eye...
they tend to be harder subjects to get to stand still
bravo!
