About Edits:
- Any edits asked or made during the sketch/design phase is free range. This includes: Adjusting body proportion, rearranging something in a pose (example: arms position, hand position, foot angle, reasonable changes like that) - And adding or omitting elements from a costume design. (example: belts, jewelry, folds, long or short sleeves, etc.)
- If edits are asked AFTER inking or flat coloring stage, you are allowed up to 3 reasonable edits (Either line-art adjustment or color swatch changes) - once the 3 are up, each edit is an additional $5 USD per edit.
About Head-shots:
- For icons, you'll get 3 version of a chosen expression. (Example: 3 different takes on a smile, or a frown, etc.)
- This also involves the angle of the head (Front view, quarter view and profile view)
- If you already have a specific expression or angle in mind, you may only get a single take. This is a case-by-case basis.
About Half-Body (waist up):
- You'll get three versions of an action. If no specific action or pose is offered, there is a high chance you'll land a default pose of "standing with crossed arms" or "hands on hips" so please have a pose in mind.
About commissioning a character in general:
- Character reference sheets are highly preferred if available.
- Pose or stock photos of a specific actions is also highly appreciated.
- In the event you have an idea but no reff sheet and this is a character creation commission, collect elements to reference in advance (example: items from a game or movie or show. Hairstyle of a media character or body type of a cartoon character, etc.)
- I don't copy art styles exactly. There's always going to be an element that's part of my "artist handwriting" in it. Please keep that in mind. If you want a specific mimic-ed art style, you'll unfortunately have to find it elsewhere.
- If this is an OC, a small explanation of their personality will help me design them to fit that character more organically.
