The New Club
Erica admired herself in the mirror, appraising the contours of the little black dress she had chosen for the evening and assuring herself that it hugged her curves nicely. She wanted to look her best for tonight, which she realized was a little counter-intuitive considering what she planned to do with her night, but she saw no reason not to doll up. Satisfied with herself she checked her phone for her ride, it would be there any moment and she was just in time. Gathering up her purse she checked the kitchen counter and ensured that the envelope containing her will and a copy of her signed permission slip for what she planned to do.
Everything was taken care of, her finances were taken care of, there was nothing left to do aside from the deed itself. Her phone chimed and she checked to see that her ride was pulling up. Leaving her apartment she hurried down the stairs and out the door to find the car waiting for her.
“Erica?” the driver asked.
“Yes.” she replied
